Kris Kornbrek – Vice President, Automation and Controls Division

Kris grew up in New Bern, North Carolina. Upon graduating from High School, Kris enlisted into the United States Navy where he served on board the Guided Missile Destroyer, U.S.S. Stout as an AEGIS Radar Tech.   After serving 6 years in the Navy, Kris returned to school and earned a B.S. Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology. He worked for Hewlett Packard for the next 8 years as a System Engineer.

Kris joined our firm in June of 2016 as a Field Service Engineer working for our Automation and Controls Division. Recently he was promoted to the position of Vice President, Automation and Controls reporting directly to Mark Thompson, President.  In his new role, Kris is responsible for the Division’s Field Resources including all Technicians, Electrical Foreman, and Application/Field Service Engineers.

Mark Thompson recently commented that “Kris is a hard-working, dedicated professional, whom we are very fortunate to have on our Team.  He is a results-driven guy, and consistently exceeds the expectations of our Clients.” Kris remarked, “I’m privileged to work for such a fine Company, and with such a great group of team mates. I look forward to a long career here.”

Rudy L. Hawkins is very pleased to have Kris on our Team.  Please join us in congratulating Kris on his achievement.  He and his wife, Sarah are expecting their first child in December.  He is no doubt going to be a very busy “Dad”.
